Truffle Discovery Stay

During the truffle season, between December 30th and February 28th, join an introductory session to truffle hunting:

visit our producing truffle orchard on-site, one of the largest experimental truffle groves in France
hunt for truffles in person with our three truffle dogs, Marsanne, Persane, and Paulsen
Pascale will be your guide and lecturer throughout your walk
discover the mysterious world of this black diamond and experience genuine moments of excitement and surprise
as evening falls, taste the truffle in all its forms through Patrick's cuisine.

Every evening, Patrick will prepare a three-course Truffle Discovery menu, always unique, crafted from produce gathered in the kitchen garden and the inspiration of the moment. They are prepared with a constant focus on your well-being and pleasure.

In the morning, the Farmer's Grand Breakfast is served in a quiet, restful atmosphere. Enjoy a moment of true relaxation and comfort, tasting products crafted with care by your hosts!

What is the "Truffle Discovery Stay"?

This is an immersive experience into the world of the truffle at Maison Duler at Domaine de Saint-Géry. It includes the truffle "hunt", gastronomic meals, and learning about truffles from growers with 35 years of expertise.

What is truffle hunting?

Derived from the word "excavation", cavage is the act of harvesting truffles from the earth. Unlike other crops, the mystery of the truffle requires the grower to use an animal (usually a dog) to find it.

What activities are available on the estate?

Across the estate’s 70 hectares, you will find 12 km of paths for walking, and you can explore our 2-hectare permaculture kitchen garden and orchard. A fitness room, jacuzzi and sauna are also available.
